- Pima Computer Recycling Open House (PCR), March 21, 2008

"Pima Computer Recycling is COPE's baby. It's run by a COPE subsidiary, RISE Inc., and Benchik said everything about the program fits in with COPE's mission of helping people with substance-abuse and mental-health problems who are generally mired in poverty. The job skills can lead to work, which in turn can lead to stability and structure." Josh Brodesky, Arizona Daily Star, March 24, 2008.

On May 10, 2008, COPE Community Services, Inc. renamed its east location (fka Pueblo Case Management) in honor of Dr. Mary Ann Coady Weinand, M.D. with a beautiful, top notch dedication ceremony.  "Taking a seat in Dr. Mary Ann Coady Weinand's office was like settling into the cozy living room for a chat with a good friend. Her office at an East Side outpatient clinic for COPE Community Services was decorated with copies of Impressionist paintings, and on her desk always sat a vase full of silk sunflowers."  She set a happy mood for her office and her patients," said her husband of 21 years, neurosurgeon Dr. Marty Weinand. "An office mood like, 'Come on in. I'm a friend. Let's talk and I can help you.'  I think she could see in people pretty quickly what their psychiatric needs were. That was a perception she was very gifted with." Kimberly Matas, Arizona Daily Star, May 11, 2008.
