About COPE
Message From the President

Welcome to the COPE Community Services, Inc. (COPE) website. Everything we do at COPE, including everything you see here, is ultimately for a single purpose: To create hope and opportunity for recovery. We know that recovery is possible because we see it and experience it every day. The optimism and hope that permeates every corner of our organization has become a positive force and a dominant aspect of the COPE culture. This website is intended to spread the life-affirming contagion of hope even further.
Thanks to the energy and passion of COPE staff members and the vision and tireless efforts of the members of our community-based Board of Directors, COPE has become a powerful resource in improving the health and quality of life of both individuals and our community.
COPE has not achieved its success by acting alone. We are indebted to our many community partners, beginning with the Community Partnership of Southern Arizona (CPSA). CPSA is the regional behavioral health authority (RBHA) for Pima, Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, and Santa Cruz counties, and, in this capacity, serves as the managing partner for the system of behavioral healthcare in southern Arizona. COPE is also proud to collaborate with Pima County, the City of South Tucson, the City of Tucson, and many local providers in developing new programs and services and hosting activities such as the Arizona Women's Conference, the Meth Free Alliance, World AIDS Day, and special holiday events.
For those who share our values and vision, this website should also stimulate interest in both employment and volunteer service with COPE. For students of psychology, social work, or other human services, a variety of internship opportunities are also available. COPE is truly a place of opportunity not only for the people we serve, but also for employees, students, and community members.
Thank you for visiting our website.
