CLINICAL LIAISONS - VARIOUS SITES

Are you interested in helping others in their recovery? Do you want to make a positive impact in someone's life? If so, we have the right position for you. We are currently looking for positive individuals to work as full time Clinical Liaisons at our case management sites. Responsibilities are to serve as a participating member of the client’s team and provide services to promote positive behavioral change for clients. The Clinical Liaison is responsible for clinical oversight of client care, and to the team as it relates to the delivery of services, including the assessment and service planning processes. The Clinical Liaison provides or coordinates all covered services (e.g. case management, outreach, crisis intervention, and counseling) to address clients’ individual treatment needs.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of clinical documentation and service delivery requirements.
Knowledge of benefits and entitlement process and the availability of community resources for population(s) served.
Knowledge of Title 36 rules, regulations, processes, and necessary court documentation.
Knowledge of current DSM diagnoses and criteria.
Knowledge of treatment options available to population(s) served.
Able to identify types of medications commonly prescribed for mental disorders, personality disorders, and substance abuse and the common side effects and adverse reactions of the medications.
Able to coordinate services and implement processes as directed by supervisor.
Able to assess potential crisis situations and call for assistance if needed.
Able to operate common office equipment and have basic computer (word processing, spreadsheet, and database) skills.
Able to effectively communicate orally and in writing.

Minimum Qualifications: MA in a behavioral health (BH) related field.
BA in BH related field and 2 years BH work experience.
MA in non-BH related field and 30 semester hours in BH education and 2 years BH work experience.
BA in non-BH related field and 30 semester hours in BH education and 4 years BH work experience.
Associate Degree in BH related field and 4 years BH work experience.
Associate Degree in non-BH related field and 30 semester hours in BH education and 5 years work experience.

Salary: $30,600 - $36,600 per year, depending on education and experience.

PSYCHIATRIC NURSE II - (RN)

We are currently seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurses for our case management sites. The primary responsibilities of the position are to be responsible for patient care. Under general supervision of the site director, provide support to case management and medical staff. The Psychiatric Nurse is also expected to cooperate as a team member and provide services in accordance with client’s individual treatment plan that results in a positive behavioral change.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

1. Knowledge of case management documentation and service delivery requirements.
2. Knowledge of benefits and entitlement process and the availability of community resources for population(s) served.
3. Knowledge of Title 36 rules and regulations.
4. Knowledge of current DSM diagnoses and criteria.

Starting Range: $44,000 - $52,000 per year depending on education and experience.

PSYCHIATRIC

Currently seeking full-time Psychiatrists to work at our case management sites. The Psychiatrist serves as a team member in the provision of services in accordance to a client's individual treatment plan that results in a positive behavioral change. The Psychiatrist will assume medical decision-making responsibilities in the assessment and management of behavioral health disorders of clients referred to them.

Duties: Adhere to the practice standards of the local community for their specialties and will follow all Department of Health Services regulations and policies related to the treatment of persons suffering from substance abuse and mental illnesses. Participate in interdisciplinary staffings and consults for clients as needed. Provide education to clients, their families, and to staff members related to medication, mental heath diagnosis and medical conditions. Coordinate care with primary care physician’s when appropriate. Adhere to guidelines related to pharmacy practices. Assume responsibility for the behavioral health evaluation, assessment, and treatment of clients referred. Effectively match client needs with available services while maintaining client in the least restrictive environment. Obtain Prior authorizations for restricted proprietary or non-formulary medications or procedures (e.g., ECT, community referral, neurological psychological testing) through the Medical Director or Assistant Medical Director. Responsible for meeting encounter production requirements as specified by the Medical Director.

Qualifications: MD or DO with the completion of an accredited psychiatric residency training program plus experience working in managed care settings; working with clients who have serious and persistent mental disorders, co-occurring disorders, and traumatic brain injury; and psychiatric treatment of the developmentally disabled. Licensed with the Arizona Board of Medical Examiners and Drug Enforcement Administration. Proof of professional liability coverage of at least one million dollars. A practitioner in good standing with the agency with practice privileges consistent with clinical qualifications.

Starting Salary: : $180,000 - $195,000 per year, DOE.

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Currently seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to work at our case management sites. This position is as an active member of a community based integrated service delivery network. The Nurse Practitioner will assume clinical decision-making responsibilities in the assessment and management of behavioral health disorders in collaboration with the Medical Director at designated practice sites.

Duties: The PNP will assume responsibility for the following: behavioral health evaluation and assessment of clients referred, psychopharmacologic management of clients referred, consult with ancillary services, physician specialists and social service agencies in order to assist the client and family in attaining maximum good health, share the responsibility with administrative, medical, nursing and other personnel for the quality and efficiency of client care services, participate in peer review with other professional staff members.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing from a State Board of Nursing approved school of nursing with satisfactory completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
2. Work Experience: Must have a current DEA number and one (1) year experience in a psychiatric setting.
3. Certified as a Nurse Practitioner and has prescribing privileges through the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
4. Is a practitioner in good standing with the agency with practice privileges consistent with clinical qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working in a managed care setting. 2. Experience working in case management driven models of service delivery. 3. Experience working with clients who have serious and persistent mental disorders. 4. Experience working with clients who have substance abuse disorders. 5. Experience working with co-occurring psychiatric disorders. 6. Experience working with behavioral disorders as a result of traumatic brain injury or developmental disability. 7.

Starting Salary Range: $110,000 - $126,800 per year, depending on Education and experience
