Health-Related Benefits
Healthy employees help COPE maintain a healthy and productive work environment. That is why COPE offers a range of health benefits to choose from, including coverage for preventive care; medical services; prescription drug, vision, and dental coverage; and mental health and substance abuse treatment. COPE also offers Flexible Spending Accounts (healthcare spending and dependent care).
As an added benefit, COPE provides additional insurances at no cost to the employee: short term/long term disability, life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment.
COPE's benefits allow employees to:

Vacations and Holidays
At COPE it is important that employees are able to balance work time with family and personal time. Employees accrue Personal Time Off (PTO) from the date of hire, usable after six (6) months of employment. Employees earn between 18 and 25 vacation days per year, depending on length of employment.
All eligible employees also receive eleven (11) paid holidays per calendar year, one (1) of which is a Floating Holiday available anytime with supervisor approval. Paid holidays include:

Retirement and Financial Planning
It is always the right time to save for future financial needs. Eligible employees are enrolled in COPE's 403(b) retirement plan. Employees may contribute a percentage of their biweekly earnings to their plan from the date of hire. After one (1) year of service, COPE will contribute to the employee's retirement plan, making savings grow even faster. Employees are 100% vested from date of hire.

Educational Opportunities
COPE is committed to helping employees pursue their educational goals and providing career development opportunities. Employees are eligible to receive up to 100% reimbursement of their tuition in the Tuition Assistance Program. Community and Agency Involvement
COPE participates in various activities for the benefit of both the agency and the Tucson community. COPE encourages all employees to get involved in agency committees and task forces such as the Customer Service, Cultural Competence, and Recovery Committees. Employees are also actively involved in community events such as the AIDSWalk event.

Employee health and wellness is important to COPE. COPE employees can be connected with experienced and professional counselors to assist with concerns and problems ranging from depression and substance abuse to marriage and stress management. COPE's Employee Assistance Program is free, confidential, and available to all employees and their families.
